Artist Spotlight: Izaiah Forman

Live at Denton Blues Festival – Saturday, 2:00 PM–3:00 PM

Izaiah Forman is a passionate artist with a deep love for both music and visual arts. Recognized multiple times on the Dallas International Guitar Festival’s “10 Under 20” list, Izaiah has already made his mark as a standout young musician. He was also the first artist to be endorsed by Platinum Music Complex NRH, where he has recorded his original music.

In 2024, he released his debut single “The Boar” on all major platforms, showcasing his ability to write, produce, sing, and play both guitar and bass. Since then, he has followed up with “Texas Heat” (January 2025) and “Break That Bridge” (May 2025).

Izaiah has twice won the North Texas Blues Challenge and has represented the Trinity River Blues Society at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. Though largely self-taught on electric guitar, he also has classical training and draws inspiration from legends like Eddie Van Halen and Stevie Ray Vaughan. His journey began in 2020 during the pandemic, when Tommy Katona first recognized his talent and invited him to perform on stage.

Beyond guitar, Izaiah is a multi-instrumentalist, playing brass instruments such as tuba, trumpet, and euphonium. He is also a dedicated visual artist, recently presenting work at the Skypnoy Gallery in October 2024. Creativity runs in his family—his grandfather is a music producer and his father a visual artist—and their influence continues to inspire his pursuit of music, art, and expression.

Whether through the strings of his guitar or the strokes of a paintbrush, Izaiah Forman is constantly pushing creative boundaries and sharing his passions with others.

Catch Izaiah Forman live on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 2:00–3:00 PM at the Denton Blues Festival.
